This adorable cookie works for so many occasions: baby showers, birthdays, bridal party gifts, dance recital presents, even ladies’ luncheon favors. The best part is that you only have to make one color icing!

What you’ll need:

- CookieCutterKingdom Tutu Cutter
- Sugar cookie dough (CookieCutterKingdom recipe here)
- Rolling pin
- Royal Icing, tinted light pink (CookieCutterKingdom recipe here)
- Piping bag fitted with a tip #4
- Fondant, tinted light pink
- 1/2 inch flower cutter

Directions:

Roll out your dough, cut out the tutus, freeze shapes for about an hour, bake at 350 and cool completely.

Pipe your light pink royal icing all over the tutus. I like to pipe the outline first and then fill in the middle, using a toothpick to guide the icing in all the corners. After about 5 minutes, go back over the skirt part of the tutu and create ruffles.

Next roll out the light pink fondant and cut out the flowers. Let the cookies and fondant flowers dry overnight.

Attach the flowers using the royal icing and then pipe a little dot in the center. That’s it! Enjoy the compliments and gratitude as the gals in your life enjoy these tutu cute treats!
Happy baking,
Ardy
